HISTORY

BingGuard was created in 2005. Jenny (the creator) was on a romantic vacation in New York with her boyfriend. To her surprise he popped the question!!! She loved her ring but every time she looked at it, the diamond was always falling to the side of her finger. She was horrified to find out that the only way the jeweler could correct this problem was to alter the ring with the addition of two ball barrings. Determined to solve this problem, Jenny invented BlingGuard.

THE PRODUCTS

BlingGuard had two products in their line:

BLINGWRAPS

BlingWraps are latex-free and hypoallergenic, disposable bands that re sizes your ring to keep it from twisting, turning, or falling off your finger.  This innovative solution adds1+ sizes to your finger allowing your finger to adjust to your ring, rather than having to permanently alter your ring. BlingWraps use a patented "padlock" design that is invisible and locks your ring in place.

They come in the ultimate little black box that retails for $14.99 for 30 disposable bands. Discrete, organized and easy to take with you anywhere.

There are two ways you can use this product: you can wrap it around the inside of the ring or around your finger. I chose to wrap it around my finger. It was applied in second and easy to use! It was light weight and you barely noticed it on (think band-aid like feeling). When you add your ring on top, it is locked on the padlock section and remains tightly in place for a fabulous showing of your ring. No more annoying shifting or moving of your ring! I love that it was invisible. You could barely tell I was wearing it.

-Heritage rings (Grammy's ring is too big!)

-Prevents allergic reactions in people with metal allergies
-Prevents green staining from fake metal rings

BLINGDOTS

BlingDots are like BlingGuards for your ears. They are tiny hypoallergenic and latex-free pads that you attach to the back of your ear that allow the earring to stay in place rather than falling forward.  By doing this you reduce the weight and pressure placed on your ear lobe which can cause pain and discomfort. They were very easy to use! All you do is place, the foam pad on the back of your ear and insert the earring through the pad. Add your backing and you are ready for a great night out! BlingDots are so adaptable they also work with clip on earrings, badges, pins and brooches. I really liked this product. When I had the BlingDots on my earrings felt comfortable and security. They were light weight and very easy to use. I only wish that the BlingDots were invisible like BlingWraps. If your hair is down, the BlingDots are not noticeable at all. If you were going somewhere fancy and you had your hair up in an Up do, you would see the pad and it looks like you have a band aid on the back of your ear.

Like the BlingWrap, they come in the ultimate little back box and retail for $14.99 for 45 disposable pairs (90 individual dots).

They are safe for all skin type and prevent allergic reactions. They allow you to fix many jewelery problems temporarily without changing the original piece of jewelery!
