Mini Cut Out Pizzas
Ingredients:

Pillsbury pre-made pizza dough
Primo Pizza Sauce
Cracker barrel cheese
Toppings (olives, peperoni, pineapple, green pepper, onions, bacon, etc) My kids are plain Janes, only cheese for us!
Cookie cutters (we used snowflakes and stars because it was so cold out!)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350
2. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface.
3. Cut out the pizza dough into different shapes.
4. Cook for 10 minutes until beginning to brown on edges.
5. Grade cheese
6. Add sauce, toppings and cheese to pre cooked pizza crusts

7. Cook for 10 more minutes until cheese begins to bubble and brown
8. Let cook 10 minutes and enjoy!
The kids enjoyed these so much that they asked me to make them the next night! Luckily, there were tons of leftover and they were pleasantly surprised to find them in their lunch the next day! DD1 loved how easy it was to feed herself with these mini pizzas!

Those are adorable!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter would just love to make this looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a fun food idea!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this idea. Anything to get kids excited for meal time is a good thing! I'm having one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" kinda moment. ;) I usually just do the traditional roll out the dough in a circle. Next time, cookie cutters! Then maybe my kids would eat more than one piece!
ReplyDeleteMy kids LOVE to do this! So cute for the kids!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get my son to do this. His sensory disorder doesn't allow him to help me bake anything as it's all yucky to him, but he'd love the shapes and fun of eating this delicious recipe of fun!
ReplyDeletePizza dough in a can? What will they think of next? Seriously though I've yet to see those in a grocery store here but this looks like a great idea. My little one would love to help with something like this. Mind you she would have half the dough and cheese eaten before they made it to the oven :)
ReplyDeleteMy son would love this. We've just have to use goat cheese because of his allergies.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so excited for Michael to get older and do things like this!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! I've never thought of doing this, but it's such a fun idea for kids. Love it!
